Keeping You Informed
We believe that everyone connected to Langbourn Ward should have straightforward access to their representatives and to the work of the City of London Corporation.
Our aim is to be open and approachable, ensuring that businesses, workers, and residents alike know where to turn for information, support, or to raise concerns. If you would like to visit us in-person to discuss an issue, explore opportunities, or simply hear more about the matters we are focused on, we would be delighted to meet with you.
Equally, we regularly spend time within the ward itself, visiting businesses and organisations to listen, share updates, and explain how the Corporation’s work relates to Langbourn. This ongoing dialogue helps us ensure that your priorities are reflected in the decisions we take and that the ward remains well-represented in the wider life of the City.
Langbourn Ward Business Forums
Our Langbourn Business Forums are a space for local businesses, residents, and stakeholders to come together, share insights, and shape the future of our Ward. Held regularly throughout the year, these forums provide a platform for discussion on the issues that matter most—from footfall and public safety, to planning, licensing, sustainability, and opportunities for growth.
Each session features guest speakers from across the City, alongside contributions from local business owners and community voices. The aim is simple: to keep Langbourn’s business community connected, informed, and supported, while ensuring your views are heard at the highest levels of the City of London Corporation.
Whether you run a café, manage an office, or own a boutique shop, the Business Forums are your chance to meet neighbours, exchange ideas, and tap into new opportunities. Together, we’re building a stronger, more vibrant Langbourn.

DESTINATION CITY
The City of London Corporation’s Destination City initiative is a forward-looking programme to reshape the Square Mile into more than a global hub for finance. It’s about positioning the City as a centre for culture, innovation, and leisure — a place where commerce and creativity sit side by side. For centuries the City has been at the forefront of change, from the growth of banking and insurance to the rise of media and professional services. Today, Destination City builds on that legacy by drawing in new talent and industries, while making sure our streets remain active and engaging throughout the week.
Here in Langbourn, the impact goes well beyond economics. It means nurturing a ward where historic lanes connect with new public spaces, cultural landmarks, and a thriving mix of cafés, pubs, and restaurants. With projects such as the London Museum and Horizon 22 helping to redefine the City’s skyline and visitor experience, Destination City is designed to attract people, encourage them to explore, and highlight the breadth of life on offer in the Square Mile. By increasing footfall, strengthening local businesses, and celebrating culture, it helps Langbourn stay vibrant, welcoming, and central to the City’s future story.

The City Belonging Project is a strategic initiative led by the City of London Corporation to strengthen inclusion and connectivity across the Square Mile. Its focus is on fostering meaningful collaboration between diversity networks and enhancing the visibility and cohesion of under-represented groups within the City’s professional landscape.
Through this programme, the Corporation aims to ensure that City institutions, activities and events are accessible, welcoming and representative of the communities they serve. By improving pathways for engagement and participation, the project supports a more open, integrated and forward-looking City environment.
